Hwange National Park:
Hwange National Park (formerly Wankie Game Reserve) is the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe. Rich in vegetation and habitat the Park hosts over 100 mammal and 400 bird species and has a healthy population of African wild dogs, thought to be of one of the larger surviving groups in Africa today. The park’s mopane and teak woodlands, grasslands and scrub areas provide a true wilderness experience and some fantastic game viewing opportunities.
Lake Kariba
Lake Kariba is a unique place of outstanding beauty and unforgettable scenery. This vast man-made lake is surrounded by excellent national parks in both Zimbabwe and Zambia and really is an incredible place to include on a safari.
Kariba offers spectacular views, stunning sunsets, great fishing, boating, water sports or just relaxing and soaking up the sunshine. It is Africa’s largest man made dam, 226km long and in places up to 40 km wide. The sheer size of it makes one forget it’s a dam and in certain places it almost feels like an ocean!

Mana Pools – Lower Zambezi:
On the banks of the Zambezi river lies Mana Pools National Park, an area known for its wildness and beauty. Home to a remarkable concentration of wild animals, which gather on the flood plains when water elsewhere is scarce and when the numerous winterthorn trees shed their protein-rich pods.
This remote wilderness attracts elephant in there thousands, hippopotamus, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, spotted hyena, honey badger, warthog, bushpig, zebra, greater kudu, bushbuck, nyala, eland, waterbuck, sable antelope, grysbok and steenbok. Not too mention the excellent tiger fishing in the Zambezi River.
