This itinerary has been designed by us to give you the ultimate Delta and Desert experience, showing off the amazing contrasting landscapes and wildlife Botswana has on offer. If you want to experience sleeping with nothing more than a canvas wall separating you from the pristine wilderness of Botswana and some of Africa’s best game-viewing, then this is a great option.

All our mobile tents are nothing short of very spacious and comfortable with their own individual eco toilet facility. The mobile option is also the best way to really immerse yourself into the wildest areas.

Trip Summary

Start WINDHOEK end ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Best time to visit: March – November

Day 1-2

Arrive at Windhoek airport
Depending on arrival time overnight stay in hotel
We can organise a guide around the city
Leave Windhoek and drive 3hours to Namib Naukluft National Park
Game viewing in Namib and view the highest sand dunes in the world situated in Sossusvlei
Acitivites include climbing the dunes, game drives and balloon rides
Luxury lodge accommodation

Day 3-4

A 3-4 hour drive through the dunes to coastal city of Swakopmund
Spend the morning exploring the city
Boat trip to visit the Cape Fur Seals – Whales, Dolphins and Leatherback Turtles can also be spotted at the right time of year
Overnight stay in luxurious hotel in the City

Day 5-6

Drive North 5 hours passing through part of the Skeleton Coast – excellent game viewing on route
Arrive at lodge situated in Twyfelfontein
Visit the rock paintings in Twyfelfontein Uibasen Conservancy
Visit the Organ Pipes, Burnt Mountain and Petrified Forest – all rock formations unique to Namibia
Activities include visiting unique rock formations and guided walks to see bushman paintings

Day 7-8

Scenic drive to Western side of Etosha National Park
Game drive into Etosha
Luxury lodge accommodation

Day 9-10

Day game drive from West to East Etosha National Park
Luxury lodge accommodation

Day 11

Transfer back to Windhoek for onward travel

Day 12 (recommended add on)

We recommend a trip to North Western Namibia to Kaokoland and explore the culture of Himba people – here you can buy hand-made items and jewellery, the best you will find in Africa.
